So, you’ve been here before and you notice changes in the appearance or layout of some things. Or you’ve never been here before and notice that some pages look one way and some another. Or maybe you’re just looking for something and keep running into “404″ pages and wonder what the deal is!

I’m doing a bit of conversion. A lot of pages badly need a re-write, and with 23,000+ pages and 5,000+ images, the site had become difficult to manage, change and update. Going from a collection of static web pages to a Wordpress blog lets me add new features, clean up the writing a bit, and give the whole place a needed face lift. Content is king, so layout will be simple, and all changes will be to make things easier to find and use.

But note the “23,000+ pages” thing - it’s going to take a little while to get it all converted. I’ve tried to make both the old and new sites live happily together, and to fill in all the gaps and make things point to the right place, but it’s going to be an old fashioned “excuse our dust” situation for a little while to come. Sorry about any problems. Working to fix them now. Please don’t delete your bookmarks.
