Suppressed on 29 November 1801 as part of the excesses of the French Revolution, and its functions were served by the Archdiocese of Aix, France. Restored on 10 July 1817. Suppressed on 6 October 1822 when it was merged with the Archdiocese of Aix-Arles-Embrun.
