French noble, the son of the lord of Ternes, Limousin. Nephew of Cardinal de la Chapelle. Bishop of Orleans, France in 1321 while still a sub-deacon. Bishop of Limoges, France in 1328. Bishop of Bourges, France in 1343. Instituted a feast in honour of Mary‘s Immaculate Conception. His will he left all his property for the education of poor boys.
