ADELA and IRMINA (Saints) Virgins (December 24) (7th and 8th centuries) Two sisters, daughters of Dagobert, King of the Franks, for whom he founded a monastery at Treves, where their devotedness to the service of the poor led to their being after their deaths honoured as Saints.
