ANDREW (Saint) Martyr (November 28) (8th century) A holy Solitary, one of those who, with Saint Stephen the Younger, were put to death by Constantine Copronymus for maintaining the Catholic doctrine of the lawfulness of honouring holy statues and pictures (AD. 756).
