BAITHIN (Saint) Abbot (June 9) (6th century) Also called Comin or Cominus, and described as first cousin to Saint Columbkille, by whom he was educated, and whom he succeeded as Abbot of Hy or Iona. He is said to have died (A.D. 598) on the anniversary of the death of Saint Columba.
