BASILISSA (Saint) Virgin Martyr (March 22) (3rd or 4th century) A young girl, a Christian, burned alive with Saint Callinica, at Antioch, under Diocletian (A.D. 305), or, as others say, with greater probability, in Galatia, under Decius (A.D. 250).
