BENEDICTA (Saint) Virgin Martyr (January 4) (4th century) A nun or “religious woman,” beheaded in the time of Julian the Apostate (A.D. 364). Fellow-sufferers with her in Rome were Priscus, a priest, and Priscillian, a cleric.
