DAMIAN (Saint) Martyr (February 12) (Date unknown.) According to the Bollandists there are two Saints, Damian, whose Feasts are kept on February 12 – one, a soldier who gave his life for his religion in Africa, probably at Alexandria, the other, a Roman Martyr, whose body was found in the cemetery of Saint Callistus, and afterwards taken to Salamanca in Spain. But dates and particulars are altogether wanting.
