EOCHOD (Saint) (January 25) (7th century) One of Saint Columbkille’s twelve companions, and chosen by him to Christianise the people of North Britain. He is called the Apostle of the Picts of Galloway. He appears to have survived Saint Columba, who died A.D. 597.
