(Saints) (October 25) (1st century) The tradition is that Fronto, a Bishop, born in Lycaonia (Asia Minor) and baptised by Saint Peter, was by the Apostles sent as a missionary into Gaul, with a priest, George. Saint Fronto converted many of the inhabitants of Perigueux, of which city he became the first Bishop. He died before A.D. 100.
