(Saints) (March 19) (7th century) A Roman priest and a deacon, sent in the middle of the seventh century by Pope Saint Martin I to work with Saints Amandus, Aubert, Remaclus and others, at the evangelisation of the countries now known as Belgium and North-Eastern France. To this task the two Saints devoted themselves with great fruit of souls, and many miracles are attributed to their prayers. Their relics were taken to Ghent in the tenth century.
