Profile

Maryknoll Missionary priest in the Military Ordinariate of the United States. Ministerd to United States soldiers in the Vietnam War. Wounded on two different occasions. Killed while trying to rescue a wounded soldier. Posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. The frigate USS Capodanno was named in his honour, and was the first ship the United States fleet to receive a papal blessing. Father Vincent’s Cause for Canonization has opened.
