Saint Berach

Abbot died 595 at Gortnalnachra, Connaught, Ireland. He was the nephew of Saint Froech, brother to Saint Midabaria, and a disciple of Saint Kevin. He built a church at Cluain Coirpthe, since known as Termonbarry or Kilbarry. Patron of Kilbarry, Roscommon, Ireland. His crosier is in the Dublin Museum. Feast, 15 February.
