Louis Jacques Thénard

[Louis Jacques Thenard] French Catholic chemist. Born 4 May 1777 at Louptire, Aube, France; died 21 June 1857 at Paris, France. Co-founder with Gay-Lussac of a new method of organic analysis, discovered Thénard's blue, boron, and hydrogen dioxide.
