Aubrey Thomas Hunt De Vere
Poet, born County Limerick, Ireland, 1814; died there, 1902.
A personal disciple of Wordsworth, he wrote poems based on the legends of Greece and Ireland.
He was graduated from Trinity College, Dublin.
Later he visited Cambridge, Oxford, and Rome, and came under the influence of Newman.
Largely through his study of Coleridge, and the conversion of Cardinal Manning, he became a Catholic, 1857.
