Saint Fulcran

Confessor, Bishop of Lodeve (died 1006). He rebuilt many churches and convents, and founded the monastery of Saint Sauveur. The poor and sick were the object of his special care; for their support he erected and endowed hospitals. Buried in the cathedral of Lodeve, his body was burned by the Huguenots, 1572. Feast, 13 February.
