Fourth century confessor; Bishop of Milevis in Numidia. A converted rhetorician, he wrote a valuable treatise against the Donatists, in reply to Parmenian of Carthage, c.366. Nothing further is known of his life. Relics in the cemetery of Saint Callistus. Feast, 4 June.New Catholic Dictionary
