Michael Faraday

[Michael Faraday] Sandemanian physicist. Born on 22 September 1791 at Newington Butts, England; died on 25 August 1867 at Hampton Court. Preeminent in the science of electricity due to his important experiments and discoveries. The farad, the electromagnetic unit of electric capacity, was named in his honor.
