Reigned 283 to 296. Probably born in Salona, Dalmatia; died Rome, Italy. Little is known of his reign. Decreed that before a man could be bishop, he must first be porter, reader, exorcist, acolyte, subdeacon, deacon, and priest. Divided the districts of Rome among deacons. Feast, Roman Calendar, 22 April.
