died c.433 Styled “of the golden hair,” virgin. She was the daughter of King Leoghaire of Ireland. She and her sister Fedelemia, encountering Saint Patrick near the fountain of Clebach, were instructed by him in the doctrines of Christianity, were baptized, received their First Communion, and died in an ecstasy of love. Relics in the cathedral of Armagh. Feast, 11 January.
