Martyrs. Nothing is known of them except that their bodies were discovered at Milan by Saint Ambrose, c.396. Their apocryphal legend relates that Nazarius was born at Rome, fled to Upper Italy during the persecution of Nero, and traveled through Gaul with Celsus, a young convert of Cimiez. He was beheaded at Milan in 68. Feast, Roman Calendar, 28 July.
