Missionary hermit in the area of Olawa, Silesia (in modern Poland). Monk in Tropie, Poland. Hermit and then Benedictine monk on Mount Zobar, Hungary c.1003. Spiritual teacher of Saint Benedict of Szakalka. Known for his austere, contemplative life and personal piety. A biography of him was written by Blessed Maurus of Pecs.
