Franciscan friar who went to Morocco to preach the faith to the Moors, arriving on 29 September 1221. After preaching a few days in the countryside he was arrested. The judge considered him insane and had him imprisoned. When he continued to preach Christianity in the jail, he was executed. Martyr.
