King of Wessex (in modern England) from 688 to 726. Married to Saint Ethelburgh of Wessex. Restored Glastonbury Abbey. In 726, Ina abdicated his throne, and he and Ethelburgh moved to Rome, Italy where he spent his remaining days as a penitential monk.
