Profile
Bishop of Agen, France. Presided over several Councils including Rimini in 359, Valence in 374, and Zaragoza in 380. Friend of Saint Hilary of Poitiers with whom he waged a successful fight against Arianism in Gaul; his only surviving writing is Contra Arianos (Against Arianism).
