Martyred with Saint Aquilinus, Saint Eugene, Saint Geminus, Saint Marcian, Saint Theodotus, and Saint Tryphon by the Arian Hunneric, king of the Vandals. Blessed Bede had access to records about them, and wrote of their heroic deaths, but his sources have not survived.
