Saint Severinus of Septempeda

Brother of Saint Victorinus of Camerino. The two brothers distributed their wealth to the poor in their area, then retired to live as hermits on Montenero. Ordered by Pope Vigilius to become Bishop of Septempeda, an area in the Marches of Ancona, Italy. Severinus was so successful at reviving the faith in his diocese that the town is now known as San Severino Marche in his honour.
