- Sixth century hermit, monk, and abbot at a monastery located on Cesambre, a small island near Aleth in Armorica, Brittany, France; the island was accessible only at low tide, and for centuries was known as Aaron in his honour.
Welcomed Saint Malo on his mission to France, and worked with him in the region.
