- Daughter of a weaver.
Foundress of the Daughters of Jesus on 8 December 1871, which received approval by Pope Leo XIII in 1902, and served as its superior.
She opened schools for children, and religious classes for the poor.
Known for the depth of her prayer life, and for instilling a love of prayer in the women in her order, and the children of their schools.
