Nephew of Saint Laurentinus, Saint Laurentius, and Saint Clerina. Imprisoned and tortured during the persecutions of Decius in Rome. He was eventually freed and returned home to Carthage. Ordained as a deacon by Saint Cyprian. Because he suffered so much, and because he was willing to die for the faith, he has always been listed as a martyr.
