Born to a political influential noble family. Influence by the preaching of Blessed Reginald, and over the objections of her family, Diana joined the Dominicans. With the Blessed Jordan of Saxony, she founded the monastery of Saint Agnes in 1222; she lived there the rest of her days. One of the first three Dominican nuns in Bologna.
