Profile: Younger brother of Saint Adalbert of Prague. Monk at the Benedictine abbey of Saint Alessio, Aventine, Rome. Missionary to Prussia with Adalbert, he escaped the massacre in which Adalbert died. Archbishop of Gnesen in 1000, appointed by Otto III.
