Nephew of the Jesuit missionaries Charles and Jerome Lalemant. Eentered the Jesuits in Paris, France on 24 March 1630. Missionary, arriving in Canada on 20 September 1646. Assigned as assistant to Blessed John de Brebeuf among the Huron in early 1649, he was soon martyred with him.
