- Ordained at the English College, Rheims, France on 14 March 1587.
Returned to England on 1 November 1588 to minister to covert Catholics.
Imprisoned in late 1590 for the crime of being a priest, he was repeatedly tortured to get the names of other Catholics.
His body and health were broken, but he told his captors nothing.
Martyred.
