Profile: Compelled to marry against her wishes. She convinced her future husband to accompany her on a pilgrimage to Rome, and to agree that she should become a Benedictine nun, receiving the veil from Pope Saint Vitalian. When they returned home, Hunegund entered the nunnery at Homblieres, where her ex-future husband served as chaplain.
