Saint Indract
- Memorial
- 5 February;
listed as 8 May on some martyrologies
- Profile
- Irish prince, noted for gentleness and holiness.
Following a pilgrimage to Rome, he was murdered with his sister, Saint Dominica and six others by heathen Saxon brigands; because they were on a holy journey, and were killed by non-Christians, contemporaries considered them martyrs.
Later legends incorrectly make him a friend of Saint Patrick, and swell the number of his martyred companions to 100.
