Parish priest. Rector of Saint Ethelburga's, Bishopgate, London from 1504-1542. Rector of Woodford, Essex 1526-1527. Rector at Chelsea. Friend of and imprisoned with Saint Thomas More. Martyred with Blessed German Gardiner and Blessed John Ireland for denying that the King of England had supremacy over the Church, and for the crime of being a priest.
