Jesuit in 1595 in Brescia, Italy. Missionary to India in 1602. Missionary to Japan in 1606, settling in Tacacu. Banished to China in 1614, he later returned to his work in Japan where he was assisted by Blessed Monica Naisen and Blessed John Naisen. Martyr.
