Profile
Younger brother of Saint Faustinus. Nobility in 2nd century Brescia. Deacon. Zealous preacher in Brescia, Milan, Rome, and Naples. Tortured and martyred in the persecution of Emperor Hadrian.

While their cultus is ancient and widespread, recent scholarship indicates that the story of Jovita and Faustinus was a pious fiction, not a biography.
