Bishop of Antioch, Pisidia. Archbishop of Constantinople. Captured by Saracens, but escaped. Resigned to become a pilgrim through Palestine, Epirus, Dalmatia, Bavaria, and other western areas, finally settling with the Benedictine monks of Saint Bavo in Ghent. Miracle worker.
