Saint Parmenas

Profile: One of the seven deacons appointed by the Apostles to minister to Hellenized Jews of Jerusalem who had converted to Christianity. Their work is descibed in the Acts of the Apostles. Parmenas preached in Asia Minor. Martyred in the persecution of Trajan.
Died: martyred in 98 in Philippi, Macedonia
