Profile: Bishop of Canosa, in the Apulia region of southern Italy. Friend of Saint Benedict of Narsia. Papal legate for Pope Saint Agapitus I to the court of Emperor Justinian at Constantinople from 535 to 536. Sabinus went blind in his later years.
