Baptized by Bishop Saint Conleth of Kildare.
God-son of Saint Brigid of Ireland.
Captured by pirates as a child, given to the British king, who placed him in the monastery of Rosnat.
Friend of Saint Eoghan.
He was a natural, and grew to be a monk whose life was exemplified by an intense love for God, and a penchant for constant work.
Upon his he return to Ireland, he was made abbot of Cluanois Abbey in Monaghan.
