- Born to Giacomo Bracco and Anna Pera, two humble and devoutly Catholic farmers.
A pious child, she early developed a devotion to the Eucharist and the Virgin Mary, and as she grew older would go into ecstatic trances while staring at the Blessed Sacrament.
Went to Mass daily, and prayed her rosary while doing daily chores.
Murdered by a Nazi officer while she fought to keep from being raped.
